A herd of happy, mostly home-bred horses is ready to take you on your equestrian adventure. The riding holiday is all about you and your chosen horse. I love practicing dressage, jumping, reining, trail riding, and cow work with my AQHA gelding, Azteca gelding, and Mini Appy in beautiful Montana, USA. As you improve your riding at a walk and trot, you’ll become ready to canter and gallop. Once you’ve tried trotting for the first time, it’s hard to imagine how they do it. Hunters have a long, flat-kneed trot, sometimes called "daisy cutter" movement, a phrase suggesting a good hunter could slice daisies in a field when it reaches its stride out. The over fences classes in show hunter competition are judged on the form of the horse, its manners and the smoothness of the course.
